Is there still time for creativity and imagination in our curriculum? Absolutely. Creativity in academic work is the generation of ideas or solutions that are novel and appropriate in the context of the discipline. Creative thinking should be developed in conjunction with content knowledge and skills through engaging teaching models, strategies, and tactics. This session demonstrates how teachers can develop students’ creative capacities without sacrificing content specific instruction.
